The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta Is Permitted To Host Weddings Again

The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta has become one of the first Hotels in Jakarta that passed the health protocol from the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf). This five-star hotel also received legal permission to hold wedding receptions during the PSBB period.

"We achieved the determination of No. 418/2020 through a rigorous and structured process. We went through the initial stage from carrying out supervision of the application file, field review conducted by the joint team for health protocol costs in the tourism business sector Disparekraf and the Provincial Health Office of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta," explained Fintan O'Doherty General Manager of The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta.

The maximum capacity originating from the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of the Special Capital Region of Jakarta Province is 25% of normal capacity to apply social distancing.

In daily operational activities, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta has consistently implemented health protocols in every operational line including cleanliness, safety and environmental sustainability in all areas of the hotel, according to the guidelines for Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) tourism sector.

"This is also proven by The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta by obtaining evidence of the CHSE Hotel Scope certification audit from the Superintending Company of Indonesia (Sucofindo) in early November," he said.

"Not only that, the hotel has also formed an internal and official COVID-19 Task Force that specifically implements health protocols at all times in the hotel area." he added.
